What it is like to use
For anyone who wakes to a klaxon with their heart already racing. Also gets the phone off the bedside table, which does more for sleep than the light does.
How to choose
Decide what else you want it to do. The Philips is the only one that dims down at night as well as brightening in the morning. The other two add sound instead, either a radio and speaker or white noise. If all you want is the light, the Philips is still the one people keep.
